If you have not started using the SDK and are considering which version to use, it is recommended to use the New branch (v2.17Rx). If your application is already using the Old branch (2.6RX or older versions), you can keep using it and it will still be maintained (bug fix) (v2.6R3, v2.6R4, ...). New branch is NOT compatible with Old branch, so you might have to modify your code if you want to switch from Old branch to New branch. However, new APIs below will be added in New branch only:
